The Summit Assisted Living at Sunland Springs is part of a two phased development consisting of a Memory Care and Assisted Living facilities. The first phase was the Memory Care which was completed in December 2012. Phase two of the development will be a three story 109,818 sq. ft. Assisted Living building with 109 apartments; construction is expected to start in mid 2014. Both buildings are adjacent to each other, and will share a main corridor connection, kitchen and laundry facilities. There will be separate dining rooms for each building.

The Assisted Living phase will provide amenities to the residence such as an in house clinic, fitness center, theater, barber/beauty shop, chapel, computer/library space, billiards/darts area, multi-purpose meeting rooms and numerous living room spaces located on each floor for group functions and family get-togethers. Most living room spaces will provide balconies with views of the adjacent mountains. The building provides a highly stylized residential architectural design, which uses building materials, shapes and colors used on the Memory Care building and the adjacent residential homes.
